In the past three Ofsted Inspections, Ellern Mede School has received an “Outstanding” rating in its “Quality of Education”. This comes as our GCSE cohort continues the tradition of academic excellence in their 2021 public examinations. These results are one of the many indicators we have that our unique approach to education and health is having the best possible impact on the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment in our schools.
Ellern Mede Schools do everything possible to ensure that students receive the support they need to sit public examinations. We recognise that exams can be an incredibly stressful time for our students and we therefore take a holistic approach making sure that in even some of the most challenging time academically, students still feel safe, secure and confident in their abilities. Behind each exam result there is a story of hard work and resilience by our students as well as the large multi-disciplinary teams that help to guide and support them.
